No Egrets Estate Sales, on conducting an estate sale.
Trash is Trash. But a toy with a missing wheel and bad paint? Well, if the brand is Ertl or Buddy L, you might be throwing away a treasure. Old is old, and not all old is valuable. What you paid for an antique or collectible may not bring the same value today. That is the reason to employ an estate service when it comes time to clear out an estate or divest of unwanted items. It is our business to know the trends in the marketplace from antiques to slightly used newer items. Weather newer or 18th century, we have the needed resources to research each item to provide maximum return on your estate.
A signed contract spells out our commitment to provide you with excellent service.
When conducting an estate sale, several objectives are to be considered. First, to maximize the amount of your estate assets. Second protect your property before and during the sale. Third, to divest all or near all of the estate assets.
This requires staff that cleans, stages, properly prices and protects the estate from pilferage. Our staff includes a former interior decorator, a former small business owner and others with watchful eyes, pair that with our thirty odd years of antique business experience. Newspaper advertising, flyers at selected antique stores and street signage, all with a professional touch, assures customers are directed to your sale, and have a worthwhile experience, that leads to customers of our sales watching for our next event.
At the time of the sale valuable small items are placed in locked cases and staff is stationed strategically to both assist buyers and protect the property. Booties or runners to protect flooring in inclement weather are provided.
Each customer receives a receipt and the duplicate is held for your review. Sales tax is collected and recorded in accordance with state law. A full accounting of the sale is provided for your inspection.
May we assist you, in what is often a difficult time.
